The charioteer can direct the horses of the chariot to anywhere, he pleases, learn the importance of the 'reins' that control the mind which is alike uncontrollable horse.

To attain one's goal one can controls the mind which is fickle by the reins of purushartha(4 attainments). One should strive incessantly to control the mind.

O Lord! Destroy all that is evil and bring near us all that is good.
We should always be ready to accept good and abstain from all bad. We should strictly abhor bad thoughts, bad habits and bad deeds and should prefer good thoughts habits and deeds. This is the best path to purification, Purification leads to self-development and consequently success.

The person who is desirous of knowledge should go to a scholar and the person desirous of valiance should go to a Kshatriya.

Only by coming in the tutelage of the learned man can one acquire knowledge and the people desirous of becoming courageous should seek the tutelage of a Kshatriya. One should imbibe the best qualities by seeking the studentship of such great men.

The dignified should always practice penance.

Penana-basically includes following the set of rules, self -study concentration, altruism , contemplation, worship giving sermons, inspiration to engage in good deeds and oneness in speech and action.
Those people who are born in the noble clan are incessantly engaging in wrong deeds. People born in noble clans should engage in good deeds and activities.

The best way to fight the enemy's army is to accompany such a person who keeps his thoughts concealed as a robber.

During war time one should devoid acting independently. All the decisions should be taken in total secrecy. The person who conceals all his thoughts and does not exhibit it neither through speech nor actions, such a person is known as Sten-Hridya (One whose heart is alike a robber's heart)

One should properly adhere to the constitution of the country . The law makers analyse the laws neutrally for the well being of the country.

Become sagacious to take the oath. He is known as an 'Atena' who criticizes the bad and praises the good and noble . An 'Atena' is straight forward and he is devoid of wickedness. One should therefore support the good should be away from bias and should always strive for the well being of one and all. If you do so you shall fulfill all your desires and shall succeed in all endeavors.

I am seeing this great soul alike the sun beyond the darkness. One who knows him is liberated from death. 

There is no other way to escape death.
It is only the light of knowledge that can conquer darkness. The person who knows the ultimate truth , does not fear darkness or death. Unconditional surrender at the feet of God is the easiest way to escape death.

The gods who have realised the Brahma Jnana have said in the beginning that the person who realises this truth can bring into his control all the gods and the senses.

Knowledge can facilitate the human to break bonds of the material world and to realise the eternal truth. That is why such a person has all his senses controlled. The gods reside in our body, and by controlling the senses, they too are into control. Then the senses work according to the human desire.

(75) HIRANYA GARBHA ISTYESH MA MA HINSIDITYESHAMA YASMANNA JATA ISTYESHAHA |

The God who is worshipped with the incantation "HIRANYAGARBHAHA MA MA HINSIT VA YASMAMANNA JATA " does not possess a form.

God does not possess a form and is omnipresent. The world moves and is preserved because of God's grace. The idol can just be a medium to experience divinity but is not god itself. One should therefore learn to experience the beatitude of God through meditation.

The first half of both these mantras mean the same. We should know everything about the worlds, the directions etc.

The knowledge of the physical world is Avidya and the knowledge of the self is vidya. But we should know both. To understand nature, it is imperative to understand all the so called elements or things that constitute nature. One gradually starts differentiating oneself from the entire nature . It is possible to attain this state by the knowledge of the self.

O Radiant Creator! Enlighten me with that divine knowledge which has always been praised by scholars and protectors, through self surrender.

Here the human prays, surrendering himself to the will of god, saying O Lord, bless me with that divine knowledge praised by the scholars, who protect this knowledge and that is why are referred as noble souls. Please bless us with this knowledge which these noble souls are blessed.

(78) EDAM MEM BRAHMA CHA KSHATRAM SHRIYASHNUTAMA |

May I be embellished with the radiance of knowledge and the radiance of valiance. One should imbibe all the knowledge possible and tread on the path of truth and should also embrace courage. May the Brahmins and the Kshatriyas become radiant which is possible only if there is no animosity between them. Both these type of people should spread that type of knowledge which increases, radiance, enthusiasm, zeal and strength. The ascent of the individual is the ascent of society and the ascent of society shall doubtlessly lead to ascent of the nation.

O Agni | Bless us so that we may acquire all the comforts, may we be successful, discipline and assert the relation of the husband and wife, and destroy all the feelings of bitterness and enmity.

We should always engage in all activities that help us to acquire wealth and comfort and may we get success on the basis of our noble deeds. May there be always cordial relations between the husband and the wife and may all the obstacles and hurdles be crossed on basis of our pursuance and will power.

A brave and valiant person attains a lot of success and he becomes invincible. He conquers all the invincible comforts and consequently becomes famous.

The person who becomes famous on basis of his perseverance and grit he gradually assures control all the happiness and comforts . Therefore one should always strive so that there is growth and self improvement.

(81) MAHAM INDRO YA OJASA KADACHANA STARI ASI KADACHANA PRA YUCHCHASI |

You the great elegant Indra who does not indulge in violence and is never negligent of his duties, although being radiant and mighty.

Every person should therefore refrain from dereliction of duty and violence. Violence is the mother of all hurdles and obstructer and negligence is the doorway to misfortune.

Infact, all the scholars of the Vedas, to enlighten all the people, about the Divine cosmic energy or Parabrahma, and for his blessings distribute their knowledge to one and all, alike the emanation of effulgence.

Knowledgeable people distribute their knowledge so that they help all the people to emancipate and mitigate their miseries.

O Humans ! seek the refuge of the sun who inspires us to do everything and partake all the grains. We enjoy our hard-earned money you also do so accordingly.

The sun helps in producing grains and other things on basis of his heat. In the same way we should also earn our living on basis of our courage and perseverance. Only by doing so can we attain success.

The Vedas are unbiased and because of this merit they successfully enlighten the soul and destroy ignorance. We imbibe that knowledge which has discerned from the earlier generations. The Vedas speak of knowledge that is eternal and impeccable. It helps us in spiritual and mental development.
One can become knowledgeable only by imbibing the teachings of the Vedas because the Vedas are an source of eternal and authentic divine knowledge.

(85) UPA NAHA SUNVO GIRAHA SHRUNAVANATVAMRITASYA YE |
SUMRIDIKA BHAVANTU NAHA ||

May our sons imbibe the knowledge of the Vedas which are given by the invincible gods and may it give us happiness.

It is obvious that the Vedas bless the person with happiness, who listens and imbibes that knowledge

May the scholars take part in the religious sacrifice. May we realise the eternal truth . May all the noble people scholars and benefactors of the society help and assist us in accomplishing the Yagya.
Whenever one performs the Yagya, one should always invite noble-souls for the Yagya. Because, with their mere presence and blessing the Yagya gets accomplished. Therefore all people should unite and work shoulder to shoulder for societal progress.

(87) YENEDAM BHUTAM BHUVANAM BHAVISHYAT PARIGRUHITA MRITEN SARVAM YENA YAGYASTAYATE SAPTA HOTA TANME MANAHA SHIVJANKALPAMASTU

May that mind of mine be filled with good resolutions, which has absorbed everything from the past, present and future and can be performed properly with the help of the seven means.

Our life is alike a Yagya. This Yagya has seven means(body hands legs and mouth, mind, intellect) which fulfill the Yagya.

The speedy horse i.e. the mind controls all of them if the mind is pure then all the deeds performed are also good deed if the mind is impure then all the deeds performed are wasteful and futile. Therefore the mind should possess very good resolutions, then only can the Yagya be accomplished.
